Drimades Beach is one of the larger beaches of the Albanian Riviera and is located to the west of the town of Dhermi. It’s part of a longer stretch of beaches, which are devided by rock formations. To the south is Dhermi Beach and to the north you can find Palasa Beach. It’s a beautiful green environment with olive groves, rocks and a skyline of mountains and plenty of space to avoid the crowds and go for long beach walks.
How To Get To Drimades Beach
Drimades beach is about 3 kilometers away from the main through road and about 3.5 kilometers from the town of Dhermi, so it’s best reached by car. Any bus coming from the north or passing by Dhermi can drop you off at the exit, but it’s quite a walk down (and up again). If you don’t have your own transportation, renting a car is a great way to not only get to Drimades beach, but also be able to explore more of the beautiful Albanian Riviera.
Facilities At Drimades Beach
Drimades Beach is a touristic place, so you’ll find anything for your day or holiday at the beach. There are plenty of bars on and off the beach, restaurants, hotels and a few campings.
