About The Orthodox Cathdral
The Orthodox Cathedral in Gjirokastra was built between 2009 – 2016 next to the main road SH4. The church spans over an area of 450 square meters and the dome reaches a hight of 18.5 meters, with the cross on top bringing the total height to 21 meters.
