About The Zalli Tekke
The Zalli Tekke is located on the outskirts of Gjirokastra in a residential area. It was built in 1780 by Sayyid Asim Baba and is one of the oldest Tekkes in Albania. The Tekke played an important role in the Albanian Great Renaissance and became a national and religious institute under Baba Ali Haqi Elbasan.
