Lake Butrint, within the Butrint National Park, is famous for the farming of mussels. This tour will take you to the lake where you will get to learn more about how mussels are being cultivated and grown in this natural environment.
What To Expect Of The Taste Of Mussels Tour?
This is a private tour so only your group will participate. You will be picked up from the Port of Saranda or from your hotel.
A first stop will be made at Lekursi Castle, to enjoy the spectacular views over Saranda and the Ionian Sea.
After that you will be brought to the mussel farm at Lake Butrint for the mussel tour. After the tour you will be treated with a delicious lunch after which you will be brought back to your hotel.
