About The Saint Mary’s Church
The Saint Mary’s Church is located in the upper part of Vuno, right next to the main road SH8. It was built and painted in 1783 but during the communist ban on religion the frescoes and other art works were heavily damaged. The church itself is rectangularly shaped with internal dimensions of 11.20 x 3.80 meters and it has a single nave. There are no windows so the only natural light can come in via the entrance on the west side. There used to be a belfry, but nowadays only the legs of it remain.
